Venue: We will park at the Station Inn at Ribblehead LA6 3AS (approx.) at the junction of the B6255 and B6579
Whernside is the highest peak in the Dales with excellent views of the Ribblehead Viaduct; Ingleborough; Pen – y – Ghent and all the limestone features.
We will take the classic walk from Ribblehead anticlockwise over Whernside. About 8.5 miles generally on good paths but part of the decent is quite steep on an engineered path with steps.
